<p>Indianapolis was abuzz this weekend with <a href="http://www.hotrodshow.com/">The Hot Rod &amp; Restoration Show</a>.  Nearly 150 companies exhibited some of the most cutting edge products for Hot Rod industry with nearly half of them showing new products on the market.  Most exhibitors indicated that attendance was strong compared to last year, which is a great sign of the economy turning around in the automotive aftermarket.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.sema.org/armo">ARMO</a> (Automotive Restoration Market Association) sponsored a panel discussion on <a href="http://www.hotrodshow.com/Page/SATURDAY-SEMINARS.aspx">Social Media and the Social Web</a>.   <a href="http://www.aftermarketerclub.com/">AfterMarketer Club&#8217;s</a> <a href="http://www.linkedin.com/in/chrisripper">Chris Ripper</a> was invited to sit on the panel along with <a href="http://www.linkedin.com/pub/famous-rhodes/0/4b0/790">Famous Rhodes</a> of eBay Motors, <a href="http://www.linkedin.com/in/gigiho">Gigi Ho</a> of Digital Performance, and <a href="http://www.linkedin.com/in/tylertanaka">Tyler Tanaka</a> from Cie Studios.   The discussion was the evolution of social media, its explosive growth, and the <a href="../2010/03/how-to-present-your-business-on-facebook/">how to present your business on Facebook</a> and other social networks.  <a href="http://www.linkedin.com/in/tmyroniak">Tom Myroniak</a> from <a href="http://www.sema.org/">SEMA</a> (Specialty Equipment Market Association) moderated the discussion.</p>
