LinkedIn Company Pages Undergoing Big Facelift

September 17th, 2012

LinkedIn is giving its Company Pages a big facelift. The social media company is rolling out a new design for its Company Pages that is going to impact your automotive industry business.

Here’s what the redesign is going to look like.

If you’re new to LinkedIn, Company Pages are business profiles where users can locate important information about your business. This can include company news, product and service information as well as job openings.

In a blog post from LinkedIn, the update will help to improve comments and interactions on Company Pages. Additionally, Company Pages will be available to view on select smartphones and tablet computers through the LinkedIn mobile app.

Automotive industry companies should pay close attention to this change. The new Company Pages could be an excellent way to drive customer traffic to your website thanks to the new interactive design layout.

At the moment, only a few companies have the redesign. Some of the businesses include Citi and Philips. LinkedIn has not given a timeline on when it will be rolled out to everyone.

If you’re looking to update or build your LinkedIn Company Page, be sure to seek professional help from a social media expert. They can help ensure that your Company Page is optimized for high website traffic and sales.
