Facebook Ad Size May Soon Be Changing

For those of you who advertise automotive products and services on Facebook, the social media giant may soon be changing the body copy character limit for ads.

The blog All Facebook is reporting that the body copy character limit may go from 135 characters to 90 characters. The body copy is the main text near the picture of a Facebook advertisement. It’s highlighted in red in the ad below.

Not many details are out yet. However, more should be announced during the Facebook Marketing Conference on February 29.

Among the other speculation, Facebook may announce Timeline branded business pages. Facebook Timeline is the new profile page layout that is being rolled out to Facebook users.
